Tips Stick Bugs?
I just received 2 Stick Bugs and I am setting up habitat slowly. Are there plants that should not be in the terrarium? So far, I have the stuff the store owner pet gave me for the background. A block of land and mix of other things that has been soaked in water then placed in the aquarium. I have a vase that I made cuts in. Some heath hen and Chick cacti, and Vinca Cooler Coleus plants there. I mist the habitat daily. No advice on whatelse to add or not? I have a 20gal aquarium height. Base same size as a 10 gal, but larger. To answer your Qustion Steph I have an Albino Corn Snake, my youngest son has a corn snake, my older boy has a ball python and Red Tailed Boa, with 4 dogs, 4 cats, 2 rats, 3 dwarf hamsters, a cockatiel, a beta and 2 parakeets. I wanted something a little unusual .. We've already had Gecos, iguanas and other strange things.
Sounds like you are off to a good start. Vinca and BlackBerry are two plants kept in the cage bug stick to natural history museum where I work part time. I would stay away from Ivy cap as I heard it can be toxic.
