Would Liriope Monkey be suitable for Landscape edging?
I would like to make a kind of landscape (flower bed) in the circle of the driveway. My question is what would be a good thing to use as edging for borders separating the mulch and driveway? I saw the Liriope Monkey Grass, but felt it was very expensive. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Liriope is a great edger, and yes, it can be costly. But I found that if you are looking for the pot, initially more expensive than the 4 small “pots you can divide and produce plants much more for your money. Sometimes you can also purchase them through the apartment, in what they call caps starting with many small plants the cost of one or two larger. They grow very quickly. They are not going to be available at a garden center large area, you have to go to a nursery, and maybe you can get them ordered for you. Landscape roses are very pretty, but they have thorns where people are out of their cars, and they cost much more than Liriope, which is evergreen, is where you put it roughly, do not get out of hand or need of drastic pruning, and did not need much maintenance.
