Water your perennials, even before planting. Plunge the pots in containers filled with water for about 10 minutes before planting is the best method, after that time to withdraw and leave excess water to drain. Remove the pan and if the roots of plants are tight, you should gently tease some are free. This will new roots to start in the new land instead of constantly turning.
When you create a planting hole, the ideal situation would make it twice as wide and deep as the pot, remember to break the soil you dig. The planting depth can be just as important with perennials, with Some varieties of flowering or refusing to thrive if planted at a depth incorrect. A good rule to follow is to never plant the higher or lower than the level of compost to the pot. Place the plants in the prepared holes and tamp the soil around the roots.
