I want to drop Flower Seeds for my entire lawn is completely covered with flowers. Suggestions?
The problem is, it seems that Most flowers have seeds to plant at least 1 / 2 inch or more in soil. Forget it! I just want to have buckets full of seeds that I have only throw everything in my yard, so that shortly after, my neighbors will see my yard vomiting a huge carpet of flowers. I mean I want every inch of my bald covered courtyard flowers (mixed or not, whatever). So would I do this in early spring, or should I do in the fall, and -> that flower seeds could I use? I will use the bags and bags of flower seeds from my garden as I can throw down (no digging, tilling, planting, etc..) Just me say what and when. I wish I could do it now (it's almost fall to the "now"), this would be wonderful. If I can, let me know. ZONE 6.
You're not like that, but it's true. You must kill the grass first. Honest. BUT. the positive side, it is a good time to do so. Perfect really. Buy Round Up concentrate and mix as directed. Follow the instructions. Buy a sprayer if you have a good sized lawn. Then, just throw pounds of grass seed on your ex-spouse. Do it in Winter. Rake them in a bit if you can, just to keep birds from eating. That's it.
