How to Remove Red Wine Stains
Red wine stains can ruin a large carpet, a couch, or even a great t-shirt! But do Fear not, there are some tried and true tips that will take off even more serious looking red wine stain. The first thing to do is not rush to the spot and try to eradicate it by going back and forth with your cloth or paper towel. This does not embed the stain deeper into the fibers carpet (or a shirt or sweater, etc..) You can place a towel or cloth or paper on top of the stain (fresh and wet) and press blob and gently up any excess moisture. I found this is always a good way to start, especially if the stain is fresh.
One of the most popular ways to remove red wine stain, and also one of effective, is to mix equal parts of dishwashing liquid and peroxide hydrogen. This trick is Patty S. and she is famous on the web for that. Mix 1 cup water with 1 / 2 cup hydrogen peroxide then add a little liquid soap. Pour this mixture over the stain and watch the bubbles rise from red wine stain out of carpet. You can use dishwashing liquid or carpet cleaner or liquid soap – just make sure you mix it with hydrogen peroxide! Hydrogen peroxide is what whitens or subtracted at the spot, so always be sure you have enough of that in your mix. Let the mixture is set by himself a little, then wipe residues. You will see the stains disappear. If you do not get everything the first time, just do it again until the stain is completely gone.
Here are a few more favorite ways to remove wine stains on carpets or clothing:
* Cover the stain with talcum powder and let dry. Brush off the dried powder, which should remove the stain with it.
* If it is a garment, add boiling water directly on the stain until it is rinsed thoroughly.
* Bleach for 1 tablespoon of ammonia a cup of warm water. Soak the stain, then absorb essential moisture with a towel. Then, put white vinegar on the stain, let take a few minutes. Can absorb moisture from the vinegar with a towel and see the stain lifts.
* Use the automotive products called Dri-Clean. It is made for cars, but works well on carpet too.
* Use Shout stain remover
* Pour the white wine over red wine stain. You’ll still have a birthmark, but at least it’s white, not red!
* For club soda mixed with milk on the spot
* Pour the lemonade on the spot!
