Super Bowl XLIII – Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida 2009
It is a game of professional football championship that brings together participants of the championships of the American Football Conference, AFC and the National Football Conference, NFC. The Super Bowl will match 43 aired on Sunday 1st February 2009 and will be followed by millions of football fans all over the world, popularly known as the Super Bowl Sunday football fans.
The game is scheduled for launch at about 6:28 pm EST and will be watched by over 72,500 people in real time, the stadium itself. The team winner will be awarded the Vince Lombardi Trophy, which is awarded annually to the winning team in the NFL Annual League Championship Game.
Raymond James Stadium has already held several Super Bowls before, which include Super Bowl XXXV in 2001, Super Bowl XVIII in 1981 and Super Bowl XXV in 1991. He holds also several annual events like the Outback Bowl (NCAA Football), Monster Jam and U.S. Equestrian Invitational. The stadium has a grass surface and was ten times winner of the award for best field in the NFL.
2009 will be the fourth time Tampa Bay will host a Super Bowl game and the second Match to be held at Raymond James Stadium. The game will be broadcast on NBC television and also radio network with CBS Radio / Westwood One, in English and Spanish. Preparations for Super Bowl XLIII Game have already been established, which started last year by planting thousands of trees to help "green" Super Bowl. This measure has been taken to address emissions that are caused by the next Super Bowl XLIII event. The NFL and Super Bowl partnership committee with the Marines and the Forestry Division 700 organizations to plant one gallons of red mangrove trees along the shoreline in Terra Ceia Tampa. Tens volunteers and young people joined in planting trees in two different locations in the Bay Area.
The last match of this event was Super Bowl XLI was played February 4, 2007, at Dolphin Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Indianapolis Colts of the American Football Conference AFC were the champions who have defeated the Chicago Bears from the National Football Conference, NFC by 29 to 17. That was Colts debut in a Super Bowl since 1970 when they won Super Bowl V, which was held at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida. Baltimore Colts defeated the Cowboys Dallas of the National Football Conference, with 16 13 that the football results.
This 2009 Super Bowl Sunday bring more excitement when the game reaches over 100 million viewers worldwide.
