Choose a navel Piercing Bar
Body piercing has been increasing in popularity in recent years, and best practices Drilling, understanding and knowledge and a little celebrity endorsement helped piercings major rivers, as things such as language navel and lip piercings were relatively rare twenty years ago are now everyday. Types of Jewelry
For navel piercing there is little choice in the form of jewelry. The most popular is what is generally regarded as just a "belly bar" or 'bar navel. The bar is curved (straight barbell is not suitable for piercing the navel), with a large ball which is located inside the navel and a small ball at the other end. The small ball is generally one that is removed to insert the jewelry, but some styles of the great Ball will also loosen.

Other types of jewelry suitable for piercing belly button rings are closed ball, spirals and circular bar. The choice of these areas is more limited, but you can still find plenty of choice, if you look carefully.
Again, the navel rings range from simple and basic fun with spirals and colored rings logo fancy jewels.
Rings closed ball is sometimes used as jewelry for initial piercing because they can be rotated and therefore easy to clean. The ball is held in place by the tension on both sides of the ring around him (he did not unscrew as many people trying to do!) which must be "broken" or the open ring with pliers to release the ball. Jewelry Materials
There are a few different materials suitable for use in body piercing jewelry – these include high quality surgical steel, titanium, gold, acrylic and PTFE.
Stainless surgical steel (not stainless – stainless steel is that knives and forks are made from, no navel bars!) is the most common material for jewelry navel piercing, because it is solid, scratch resistant, smooth and hypoallergenic. It is shiny silver. The internal bar and balls of the most navel bars are made of surgical steel – the material is not specifically indicated, and is likely to be surgical steel. Bars amateur, Dangles are generally made of other metals such as rhodium is easier to shape and even nickel or sterling silver.
Many people think of sterling silver material as "the real jewelry is made and it is perceived as high quality, but this is not always the case. Titanium is lightweight, durable and does not contain nickel, making it ideal for sensitive skin. Another characteristic of titanium is that it can be processed to change its color without applying a coating or a change in the composition of the metal – it is available in a range of colors – not red or orange though.
Gold remains a popular choice for jewelry piercing decorative. Navel bars are generally made from 9 carat or 14 carat gold. Or higher grades is too soft to withstand the wear to be worn in a navel piercing. The range gold jewelry available is more limited than the high price of gold means that there is not much demand as there are less expensive jewelry not much choice.
As sterling silver, gold is often considered a "pure metal". 9 carats especially if it contains a large quantity of other metals, and can cause skin irritation for those with sensitive skin. 9 carat gold should never be used in new piercings.
Acrylic navel bars are very popular. The bright colors and the fact that acrylic is UV reactive usually make the choice of choice for people who love to play with their piercings. Their pocket-friendly price tag also helps! There are a wide range of colors of the rainbow and models available on the market, either with surgical steel or titanium bars internally or with "flexible acrylic windshield. Acrylic internal bars are good for the sport as they have more to give than rigid metal bars, and can also be used if the skin is extremely sensitive and metal is not an option.
PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is used for piercing jewelry because it is flexible, responsive and very bio-compatible. It can be used for initial piercing.
