How to grow a plant FIG?
I live in Greenville, SC. I have a plant of the FIG in a sunny spot .. I can t grow not very good. Root branch 2 to 4 branches shoot out but they do not grow big.
Figs are generally fairly easy, accommodating plants, tolerating everything from poor soil, drought and neglect. But yours does not do so well, I'll include a layer of mulch to good things your plants, some well composted plant material or well-rotted manure. This will help retain moisture and nutrients Release to the roots. As it is getting much sun, watch out for any prolonged droughts, even if these plants growing on the mountainsides in Greek islands with equal success dried. Otherwise, check to see if the variety you are more suited to the SC, because there is any a series of them, some of which are very hardy as Brown Turkey, and others a little more tender. Otherwise, all plants are unique, people are like us, and some simply do not force other people do. If there are local figures who are growing well, perhaps consider adding an new plant, if we add organic matter, possibly with fertilizers, is not the case. The long-term use of fertilizers can lead to growth of green too, but I also prefer an organic approach. Hope this helps. Although luck! Rob

Light Fuse Get Away $23.96 “You gotta see ‘em live” is the last defense of nearly every band who can’t make a decent studio album. Widespread Panic, however, is one band whose studio efforts–such as Space Wrangler and Ain’t Life Grand–have been quite good but still pale in comparison to this two-CD concert souvenir. That’s hardly a surprise, given that the group thrives more on touring than album sales, but it’s still a t… |

Fig Ficus var ‘Green Ischia’ Live Fig Tree Fig Ficus var ‘Green Ischia’ Fig Many Americans have never eaten a fresh fig. We can blame fig newtons and dried figs – those are NOTHING like a fresh fig. A fresh fig tastes like a mix of a peach and a strawberry! Figs must be picked ripe from the trees, since they do not ripen once picked. GREEN ISCHIA bears medium-sized, tight-eyed figs camouflaged from birds by the green skin color. The st… |
