Did you know that Jesus died in Japan?
It's true! Jesus escaped the clutches of the Romans and fled to Japan where he has lived a life in exile in the northern mountain villages. There he married a woman named Miyuko, and they became the parents of three daughters. Jesus died at age 106. Two wooden crosses outside the village mark the graves of Jesus and his brother, Isukuri, and there is even a museum that remembers Jesus as a garlic farmer known as the Japanese Daitenku Taro Jurai. Isukuri, people say, was crucified in Jerusalem instead of Jesus. When Jesus came to Shingo he brought with him the severed ear of his brother. Apparently, only the ear is buried in this ancient tomb beside Jesus. The museum is a roll, say, a copy of an original document that was the last testament of Jesus.
