Introduction to Color
Have we ever really see what we see? If we can determine the roughness of the surface of the eye, then May be we can find out the color by touch? Sounds confusing, does not it? These questions and many others had in mind people for centuries. The value of color perception by the human eye is no exception. First we will try to find the best color definition.
In fact, you can find many, and this is one of them: "The light, having been captured by the eye is transformed into signals of neurons located there, and is then sent to the brain, the optic nerve as a transmitter. Brrr … Too many scientists, I say. May be this one is better? "Color is a visual attribute of things that results from the light they emit, transmit or reflect. " Here is my favorite Wikipedia (en.wikipedia.org / wiki / color): Color (American English) or color (Commonwealth England) is a sensation (in humans) derives from the ability of the fine structure of the eye to distinguish three differently filtered analysis point of view. The perception of color is influenced by long-term history (nurture) of the observer and also by short-term such that neighboring colors. The color term is also used for the ownership of objects or light sources that can be distinguished by differences in the receptors of the eye. " All these definitions are correct, and indeed, they all have one thing in common: the color is light. human eye can respond in three primary colors – red, green and blue (RGB). The brain recognizes no tone color as a combination of these three primary principles.
The dictionary of a language contains a large number of color names (usually 100 to 150). In reality, the human eye can distinguish colors and shades much, but its owner is not always able to translate feelings into words.
Each person can see and recognize colors in a different way, not only physiological (eg, some people suffer from blindness, when an individual is unable to distinguish specific colors), but also psychologically. One person likes blue, the other is yellow passion, and someone else loves black. Color can be described by several people as warm, cold, heavy, light, soft, hard, relax, light or dark. The visual perception of color depends many factors – culture person, age, sex, social position and previous experience. It is not uncommon, when describing different individuals of the same color. People have noticed all these individual characteristics long ago for the first time. Most of you probably know that colors play a very important role in the rituals of various tribes throughout the ancient world. First Nations America is a good illustration of this. Different colors have been used in various ceremonies. The warriors used to frighten the war paint the enemy, and it is obvious that these colors were different from those used during harvesting or hunting. For example, painting white was used in magic rituals, where people wanted to call the spirits of the living for help in an important task such as hunting. Instead, the Black paint was used in ceremonies related to death, evil spirits, and other unpleasant experiences. We will explain the meaning of different colors in the ancient world, as well as during other periods of the evolution of humanity, in my following articles.
And now, back to our present life, we'll see how colors are perceived by modern people, and how they affect our day today life.
What we see around us during the day and night? Inside the house and work, the houses on the street, advertising in public transport, skies, flowers, trees, water and many, many other things. All have specific colors and their images are processed by the human brain somehow. While at home Yes, most people want relax and unwind after work hours, so they choose the colors of the interior, which can help them do. In deciding that tone palette to use, the individual is likely to be consciously or unconsciously, choose the colors he or she feels most comfortable. If the interior design and colors are in harmony with the style of the owners and character, it will be a positive effect on their mood and psychological balance. You all probably had at least one experience in your life when everything is back to the house of someone you thought to yourself: "I never painted my family room in such a horrible color! "That does not mean however, that the colors you saw in this house are not good enough. It is only an indication, your color preferences are unlike your friends and your house probably is decorated differently. On one of our sites Web http://stores.ebay.com/Felicity-Art you can find several examples of how abstract paintings fit into the interiors with different palettes different colors.
Hundreds if not thousands, a few years ago people noticed that different colors are affected by the mentality rights. But they also discovered that the color tones in May physiological effects on the human body. The science of using color for healing is called color therapy, or chromo. It is based on the fact that electromagnetic waves of different wavelength affect our body differently. Our eyes are sensitive to light, which is in a very small region of the electromagnetic spectrum called visible light. This "visible light" corresponds to a range of wavelengths from 400 – 700 nanometers (nm) and a range of colors from violet through red. The eye humans are not able to "see" the radiation wavelength outside the visible spectrum. The colors visible shortest to the longest length wavelengths: violet, blue, green, yellow, orange and red. The colored light is electromagnetic in nature, it interacts with the vital structures of the body human, that promote or suppress its vibration. On the other hand, the colors affect the eye IRIS stimulating different receptors, while the iris is linked to all the internal organs and brain by nerves. Consequently, different colors may affect the human body as a whole.
Let me briefly look further. Sex is one of the important and irreplaceable elements of life, and in future issues we will certainly try to explain how different colors affect sexuality (you've probably heard the phrase "sexy color").
In our subsequent articles we will discuss in more detail the following topics: the history of color, color perception, How to Use different colors in interior design and how colors affect our health, sexuality, emotions and moods.
Enjoy!

Journey – Greatest Hits DVD 1978-1997 – Music Videos & Live Performances $7.54 It will be many years before Journey’s music will be known as anything but soupy ’70s arena rock and embarrassingly overwrought ’80s pop. But that day will come: the songs and the playing are just too good for the scorn and ridicule to endure forever. Journey: Greatest Hits DVD 1978-1997 will do little, however, to hasten the band’s salvation. In fact, if it weren’t such a gift to those who l… |

The Sound of Music [VHS] $2.96 Some people may sneer at this 1965 musical, but the truth is the film has earned its status as a perennially watchable romantic-drama, largely on the strength of a fun story and chemistry between stars Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer.
