I know I need good sites or answers on why we graft … single plants questions like “Why plants graft?-or-grafting is done to save the life of plants OTH?-or-Is surgery only to save a life of plants? Please help me .. and if you want to give me more info that will welcomed. I need a little more info:) Oh .. I forgot to mention .. I need information on why we transplant cacti:)
I transplant to live. The stock of the strong roots of a species is used to graft on (cutting the bark and inserting a cut followed by the binding) characteristics associated preferred stock newly developed. I transplant Hass Avocados, you know the alligator bumpy. The Hass variety is superior and you can use older roots established to achieve a new type of fruit quickly. Farmers do not spend years waiting for new crops to grow. Sometimes I transplant four branches on a tree trunk, in a year or if you have any fruit. It saves years of development and loss of growth time for farmers who need production immediate further action.
