What kind of plant food should I put in a Dhalia and hardy banana trees and Tropical Canna a salmon?
I do not know the specifications. I saw 12 24 12 and 5 10 10 and stuff like that. I thought I was buying oil …. you know 10W30 or 5W30. It's so complicated! Is there a plant food I can buy the three plants rather than buying a separate contract for each? (I do not have much money … but I am pretty plants!) Thanks if you can help!:)
I use a fertilizer that has a slightly higher level of potassium. The proportion of key nutrients is presented in order of Nitrogen: Phosphorous: Potassium example: – a 10-10-10 fertilizer is equally balanced that 8-8-20 would be much higher potassium, compared to others. I do not know what a banana you're growing, for example. Basjoo Musa, who is one of the most hardy, but some their flowers too. If you get a balanced fertilizer, you will not damage your plants, but the Dahlia and Canna likely to produce more foliage, at the expense of flowers. The risk with bananas is that lower levels of nitrogen would be slightly minimize the possibility of maximizing the growth leaves. Otherwise, all these plants would benefit from having something organic such as compost or mulch of well rotted animal manure. This release nutrients over a longer period, as well as the use of slow release fertilizers in relation to water instant on type. Hope this helps. Good luck! Rob
