Honey Baked Bean Recipe
Howdy, Rick Sutherland here to tell you about a recipe for honey baked beans that I created in my kitchen. Now, it took a bit to try and retry to the flavor and texture just right, but I think I have! The following ingredients are essential: Of course, it is quite obvious that there can not have honey baked beans without honey. I like the brand that comes in the little huggy bear bottle with the top yellow. I think it is thicker and softer than some other brands. Also you will need onions preferebly reds, because the sweetness is essential in this recipe. Also a touch of red pepper and garlic will be necessary to complete the concoction. Now for the meat, I used the two smoked sausages and ground beef in this recipe, however, if you do not catch the "ITIS" (a state of fatigue or sleepiness that occurs after eating fatty, greasy foods or meat). Then you may want to use only ground beef or sausage instead of two. Last but not leastly you need some beans you may have a particular brand you like, and I would suggest you use this particular brand I use Bush, but the world is not me, so you may want to use something else.
Start by laying 1 / 4 cup chopped red onion and 1 / 3 cloves garlic minced in a sizzling with 1 pound of your choice whether meat ground beef or sausage or both. You should Sizzle onion, garlic and meat until meat is cooked throughout. I really prefer my ground beef slightly burned. In any case, the next step will add to the beans. Based on the concentration of other elements of this equation, I find that 2 large boxes to create the best ratio. Toss the sauteed onions, garlic and meat in a skillet and then 9X9X3 poor in 1 / 2 bottle of honey followed by beans. Now you're ready to cover your new meal with a little aluminum foil and bake for 35 minutes. After 35 minutes, then remove the pan from the oven mix the ingredients and bake for 25 minutes. Vola!
